We have been learning about weather in science and this week we focused on clouds! We have been reviewing the different types of clouds and what they do and to help us learn more about cumulonimbus clouds we created our own! Each child had a cup filled with water and shaving cream placed on top. They were told to slowly drip the water color paint onto the shaving cream using eye droppers. The students patiently dropped bits of water color onto their cloud and soon noticed that it was raining in their cups! Once the shaving cream became saturated with water colors it began to "rain" in the cups. The K's loved seeing the reaction and making it "rain" inside :)
